Traci Garrett is at the forefront of fashion as one of California’s most sought after hair care professionals. Whether she’s having her work featured in magazines, styling the A-list, teaching standing room only workshops, or having her unique forms admired by millions on television, Traci’s technical skill and artistic passion is evident in each and every client she has the privilege to work with.
Her unique style has been featured in numerous commercial works, as well as in film, television, the stage, and in competition. Her work has graced the red carpet and magazines such as InStyle, Riviera, and Angeleno.
Traci is a noted teacher, training other hair care professionals in her popular workshops. She has also gone on to utilize her expertise as Creative Director, and then Managing Editor, for Unleash’d magazine.
Her work has appeared in ad campaigns for such commercial clients as Styles for Less and Disney, and currently her designs can be seen daily on TV’s Access Hollywood and Access Hollywood Live.
Traci takes special pride in her community, making a point to lend a hand to those may need a little help by donating her talents as a volunteer at fashion shows for transitioning female veterans, and providing haircuts for the homeless at Christian Outreach in Action in her hometown of Long Beach, California. Keeping strong roots is important to Traci, which is why Sweet1017 Hairdressing in Seal Beach is where she feels most at home, with her co-workers and clients, all of whom she considers family.
Those around her will gladly testify to her commitment to building strong and lasting relationships with all those that she meets, and to a work ethic that stems from her genuine excitement in transferring the joy of what she does to her clients.
“There is not a single day that goes by that I know where I'm going, but I doubt there is any artist of value who would tell you otherwise,” Traci says. “What I do know is that I am a dreamer and an inspired thinker. I enjoy finding unique and creative ways of using my talent to keep my life abundant by bringing fulfillment to each day that I practice my craft, and to continue to create an amazing life. As an artist, I have a responsibility to continue creating, teaching, learning, sharing, and inspiring.”
